Am I eligible for Medicare?

If you live in the U.S. and worked for at least 10 years then you will qualify for Medicare when you turn 65. Generally you can first enroll in Medicare 3 months before the month of your 65th birthday. You may also qualify for Medicare due to ill health or disability status.

When is the Annual Election Period?

The Annual Election Period is October 15th to December 7th. If you miss changing your plan during this time you will most likely have to wait until the AEP next year to change plans.

What coverage can I change during the Annual Election Period?

During the Annual Election Period you’ll be able to make changes to existing Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans. During this time you can keep, change or drop plans. We provide the option to compare quotes for several plans to ensure that you enroll in the plan that best fits your needs and budget.

Can I be denied coverage ?

You’ll be eligible to enroll in all plan types when you first qualify for Medicare and you cannot be denied or charged more for coverage. You’ll also be guaranteed enrollment in an Medicare Advantage plan or Medicare Part D plan of your choice during the Annual Election Period each year.
However, if you don’t enroll during your six-month initial enrollment period, you can be denied coverage in a Medigap plan. If you do get accepted for coverage you may have to undergo a medical and could be charged a higher plan premium.
